Cold-pressed chunks from Herbafix
What is the difference between COLD-PRESSED and classic dog food?
TEMPERATURE DURING THE PRODUCTION PROCESS:
• Classic chunk: By adding pressure & heat, the temperature rises to well above 100C°. That high temperature creates the 'crispy' chunks.
• Cold-pressed chunk: Raw materials are pressed through a die at a temperature of 75°C. The lower temperature makes these chunks softer.
Why is COLD PRESSED the best choice?
NUTRIENTS ARE BETTER PRESERVED
• Heat damages nutrients and flavor.
• The lower the temperature, the more the ingredients will retain their original & qualitative state.
DIGESTIBILITY IS MUCH EASIER
• The chunks 'fall apart' more quickly upon arrival in the dog's stomach.
PROTECTING OUR CLIMATE
• Temperature of the production process is lower = less energy consumption.
• Chunks are pressed -> they take up less space -> more energy / nutrients in the same mass.
Why choose Herbafix cold-pressed chunks?
Qualitative and functional ingredients:
Decomposed grains
• Grains not good for dogs? Well, if you heat them! This ensures that dogs digest it well.
• Grains or carbohydrates do not decompose at a temperature of 75°C, so they are cooked in advance.
• This is the only way to release starch that is nutritious for your dog.
Herbs & probiotics
Each recipe is enhanced with specific herbs, each with their added value
• Turmeric: boost your dog's resistance.
• Nettle: rich in calcium, iron and magnesium.
• Carob flour: contains polyphenols, powerful antioxidants that protect your dog.
• Milk thistle: to support the liver and metabolism.
• Bacillus Subtilis: provides a balance between good and bad bacteria.
Tasty solution for every dog
